Under the Reporting of Injuries, Disease and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR) it is the responsibility of a company to investigate all accidents and dangerous occurrences to prevent recurrence and to report to the pertinent authority any of those accidents or dangerous occurrences which, according to RIDDOR must be reported.
