Asbestos Surveys & Management
Whatever the size from small shops to large industrial sites we
are able to carry out a survey to the standards as set out in the Health &
Safety Executive Guidance Note MDHS 100.
On completion of a survey the customer receives a comprehensive
report detailing the following:
- Methodology of the survey, risk assessment, and whether or not the site contains asbestos, and location.
- Photographs of the site/area surveyed and sample points indicating exactly where the sample was taken
- Recommendations of what you should next
- Information required to put together an asbestos management plan
- Advice on encapsulation or removal (if required).
If you own, occupy, manage or have responsibility for premises wich may contain asbestos (pre 1999) you have a legal duty under the
Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations to manage the risk. Having an asbestos survey completed helps you comply with that duty.
